Let’s Make a Halloween Design... TOGETHER
Thursday, October 31, 2019 - 12:00pm – 1:00pm
Lynette McDougald, Instructor, Plant and Soil Sciences
As a change of pace, Lynette will have some pre-made designs she’ll share, but much of our focus, will be a BOO-quet arrangement. It’s not as SCARY as you think to design, we’ll have step-by-step instructions.
What you’ll need:
- A container with an open that is 4-6” in width. A basket, a bowl, a small pumpkin with a liner... you choose.
- Flower foam to fill the container. Ideally 1” of the foam will stand above the container.
- A bouquet of fall flowers….supermarket bundle, yard collection of chrysanthemums, solidago (golden rod), mini pumpkins/gourds, sedum, annuals like begonia, geranium, caladium….frost will get them soon anyway! Any small foliages to fill in with. Fall leaves from maples, sweet gum, even forsythia can be nice.
- Tools: stem cutters or knife.
