New Year's Resolution

New Year’s Resolution: I will creatively live by the principles and elements of design. Let’s stir our creative souls while adhering to BPRSDH. Balance, proportion, rhythm, scale, unity, dominance, harmony. We’ll be viewing creatively the elements of color, form, fragrance, line pattern, space, size, and texture as well. Lynette will provide to the county offices, workbook pages for this year’s study of Floral Design from MSU’s Quick Bites.

Home for the Holidays

Everyone dreams of being home for the holidays. Lynette will show us how to warm up interior spaces with fresh foliages and flowers on your doors, mantles, and table-scapes.

Mississippi's Bounty

This month we will explore Mississippi’s Bounty with center pieces for your holiday tables. Consider all of the wonderful materials found in our state and how we can use them in our special gatherings with family and friends.

Floral Fashion Report

Every year, Pantone releases a selection of colors that are quickly adopted by the fashion industry. These 2014 color selections lend themselves to some striking spring accompaniments in floral. We will create a number for floral compositions that represent these colors and the cut flower offerings of our spring gardens and retailers.
